Situated on the Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland, Lakeshore is the tree change we made from Sydney over 20 years ago. It’s from here that we grow exceptional Hass, Shepard and GMax® avocados that are enjoyed by consumers across Australia and beyond.

    Our backyard is full of some classic Australian beauty.

    We have perfect weather, rich red volcanic soil for farming land, an abundance of native wildlife, national parks, waterfalls, and all the leisure activities you can imagine in, on and around Tinaroo Lake.

    We focus on growing exceptional Aussie avocados.

    While we have been in the farming game for many generations, we’ve chosen to exclusively specialise in the cultivation of Australia’s best avocados.

    Variety is the spice of life.

    We grow premium Hass, Shepard and our proprietary variety called GMax® year round, which retail under the brands of PurpleSkin®, GreenSkin® and GreenSkin® GMax® Avocados.

    Our Nursery & Orchards

    Each one of our orchards has been chosen specifically for the micro-climate that supports optimal growth for that variety of avocado. We also propagate all our trees from ideal root stock to balance their long-term durability and yield.

    Our Advanced Pack Centre

    We designed, built and now operate a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of the Tolga industrial area to enable us to facilitate the growing demand of our avocado brands.

    Our Marketing Partnership

    We’re committed to ensuring quality along the whole supply chain right through to how our produce is taken to market. The result is our partnership with two industry leaders of Marketing Produce under our company Green Skin Avocados.
